2250 Large D-Ring Bit Double Jointed
The large D-Ring bit is characterized by its firm ring. Compared to a water bit, the sides of the D-Ring bit are designed to lie about one centimeter closer to the corner of the horse's mouth. The D-Ring prevents pinching of the mouth corners in the rings and provides stronger lateral guidance compared to an olive bit. The horse cannot push the bit upwards with its tongue, so the mouthpiece sits more steadily in the mouth and is slightly more stabilized laterally. Since the ring does not rotate, there is a minimal effect on the poll, though the large D-Ring slightly softens this effect.
The double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars. The D-Ring provides lateral stabilization and guidance, creating calmness and stability in the horse's mouth.
